Yeah , migos don't really rap on 100bpm beats - its not all the way west coast because it's like a mix of west coast and metro's style

Ran back thru that album a few weeks ago before I saw this and did think that was a goofy track

But you can do that to so many records that worked at the time

When it's immediately the most succesful song after a few days you put the money and promo behind that one... he may hate the song but he doesn't hate money lol don't forget the music industry is a business

The thing about popular songs is that they can be pretty annoying... they often just appeal to that base denominator through catchiness and simplicity or whatever and people love. Even the creators are aware of this. It's not a crazy take.
