Come to Life, I think the auto tune and vocal mix made a lot of you guys nostalgic and tricked you into thinking it was some old Ye s***. Very bad and boring production, melodramatic song that belongs in a straight to DVD Disney movie

boobdylankanye’s singing outro is really nice 👍
His singing is hard to get thru for the most part but then at the very end he f***in pulls out something crazy soulful and makes up for it lol. So good

serenadei still like donda as it is, but i wish we could have lived in a world where he released the bright, happy album first and then released a dark, melancholic album inspired by the divorce. donda 2020 had such a unique and texturally rich, organic sound and it's a shame we never got to hear much of it.
I know it wasn’t his song but I wish he made more joints like By Your Side and s***. Believe What I Say is where I want him to be sonically on the next one

I like the Drake diss version a lot more. I agree with Ye’s verse being weird on the released joint. Come to Life is a beautiful song though. It got me through tough times and s***. I love how passionate Ye sounds on it and the synths definitely bring it back to late 2000s Ye.

It’s like the musical equivalent of a sociopath trying to appeal to your emotions. It’s a transparent attempt to manipulate the audience emotionally and it worked lol people really believe it’s great
I wouldn't go that far but I 100% get where you're coming from, it feels like a failed attempt to recapture past magic, it has the on-paper ingredients of a classic but it just feels underbaked, genuinely one of the less interesting tracks on the album IMO

This version is so good and real. Doesnt sound contrived and cut together. Like literally this version is the first time in a while I heard Ye and it sounded just natural.

Until u realize ye was parading around looking for attention and claiming not to be bipolar but rather “autistic like rainman” to explain his love for hitler. To be fair tho, this was probably recorded before the divorce and obviously all the consequences that followed.
