if houser’s max payne 3 gets retconned out of canon and remedy gets a chance to finish the series with their story on current-gen

Max Payne 1 n 2 is so good n would be one of my fav series of all time if it wasnt for Max Payne 3

Crazy how it along with Metal Gear are the pioneers of all this cinematic "movie-like" style 2 decades later, but they still had the sense enough to be games at the end of the day as well.

Max Payne 1 n 2 are games that could REALLY benefit and deserve a modern full remake.

At least remake one of them n remaster the other one.

good chance it happens if the remakes go well imo i think rockstar will probably never touch it again and i dont think take two would turn down a passionate and talented studio that are already connected with the series working on it as long as they still own it and people are interested at the end of the day

Id like to believe Remedy will do a good remaster and won't just port the old game with HD textures and call it good like most remasters these days.

Like I want a reimagined game with modern mechanics. If I wanted to play the game as it was in 2004 but with HD textures, I would just get the old game and put mods on it...

I remember MP2 single handedly put me on to ragdoll physics in like 2007. I didn't even realize it was a thing you could do in games til I played it. (Later saw Halo 2 had the same thing, missed out big time in that era) I was like wtf bro? When did this become a thing and why isn't every action game using this??

Then I discovered HL2... Then GTA IV came out during the peak of my ragdoll boner days
