That Drake and Kendrick s***, yeah that ties been dead.
Now more recently that Drake and ASAP Rocky s***? Yeah that ties is now dead.
The triangle is broken.
Isnt that insane? I feel like its bigger than people give thought too.
Regardless the hows and whys or faults for the breakage of a legendary rap tour, legendary comroadary & some of the greatest rappers of the 2010s - isnt it just sad?
Isnt it just disappointing?
Just even eerie in a way?
It is not the trajectory I at least wouldnt have guessed years and years ago as a fan that was on them all early (especially kendrick and rocky) & one that grew up in their teens during this era, shout out class of 2014 HS.
Its a would have been great celebration that is dead. A moment tarnished & raises way more questions than anything. Its fully dead with 3 ties severed.
Again, regardless of optics or fault, its terrible from a strictly fan & "culture" perspective.
Rap cant have s***, niggas cant have s***.

A$AP Rocky and Drake fell out over Rihanna which is tragic bc I feel like they should have collaborated way more, they could have been an iconic duo
With Kendrick and Drake, I don't really feel a way bc they don't have a ton of sound overlap. I feel like they did their thing and already collabed plenty for people who aren't making their best song together. they're also very competitive, and I feel like as much as Drake publicly likes to show love, they're very much in competition.
I don't like reunion tours bc it just shows you how much the original moment will never come back. Like seeing vids of the Bad Boy Reunion tour just made me feel sad for these legends still out here having to do shows at that age.
Smh
Drake and Kendrick had so much more ready
too cool to collab mentality of that gen <<<
i feel like there were way more collabs back then
i feel like there were way more collabs back then
my point is collabing declined after this point
my point is collabing declined after this point
yeah facts after around 2013 or 2014-ish it fell back
too cool to collab mentality of that gen <<<
It wasnt the post 2010 gen that was like that, the late 2000s gen of CH, Cudi, Drake, Wiz was like that
I mean, it's just life. Niggas grow and go their own ways. It's like when u graduate HS and the friend group slowly drifts away
Yeah but at the same time their sounds aren't really similar, f***ing problems was more of a drake ft 2chainz song with kendrick stepping out of his zone and asap just being there, all their collabs were never truly something bigger than their names in one song. Like Cole and drake, it's nothing special, I think they are too different and it's better off in the past
