The Big 3 killed hip hop. Thats my hot take.
None of the big three have classics
dont all 3 of these niggas have an album that has spent 500+ weeks on billboard? i know sales aint everything but thats gotta count for something
They both have classics, but the amount of classics that a lot of the top rappers have get over blown.
NWTS is Drakes best album but I dont feel like its really a classic. Classic is something different than a masterpiece. NWTS gets brought up in Drake fan circles all time as a classic but I rarely see it get discussed all that much outside of in those type of discussions.

THEY CALLED ME A MADMAN
THEY CALLED ME A MADMAN
Because they dont see the vision twin

Whole time we didn’t decide the big 3 the media did

Wale and KRIT both deserved so much better
Nobody on the street or in high school growing up said “ these are the definitive top 3 rappers “ you were told this. Now you vehemently defend them and hype up them finally battling like a constructed marvel event movie

It’s okay to acknowledge the push and independent freedom / budget these 3 got compared to all others

@Mafia_boss this is how they did it.
The Big 3 in essence kinda killed the whole notion of everyone getting a peace of that “mainstream” pie so you was able to have dumb mediaheads and fans talking bout “wE iN sUcH a BaD eRa oF rAp BeSiDeS oUr 3 SaviOrS” meanwhile rappers just as good as the big 3 (or in some cases better, krit >> cole) were getting ignored.
Got so bad to the point even the rappers started believing it and now everyone just stopped trying and its almost like this warped acceptance that the genre peaked with the big 3.

twin they not ready for this discussion

KRIT not being as big as he should be is quite puzzling

Take Care is the one I see being brought up as the classic and whole time I believe NWTS is better in every way

Enough to make me stop caring about most of the genre

Waka flocka is the most influential rapper of all time
Take Care is the one I see being brought up as the classic and whole time I believe NWTS is better in every way
NWTS is better for sure but TC Drake is also not the type of Drake Im a huge fan of, so Im more biased with that
