This is so easily the best album that came out this year so far. Almost a month after it dropped the whole thing sounds so fresh I really don't know how she managed to curate something that reached these kind of heights

she played a remix of Fall live which sounds soo epic, prod made me think of OPN at first but AG Cook posting a clip from it on his insta there just made it click for me that that's prob his work (he already did an official remix but that wasn't it)

a lot of the Galore tracks were reworked in some way, def mad props for every artist who puts in the extra effort to make whole new versions for their live. but also just hearing those familiar synths on a big soundsystem alone she's just such a legend

I mean I kinda summed it up top of the page lol :p

but yh I'm not generally a fan of trying to instrumentalize electronic beats but Detente on guitar added a lot (also real OG and amazing artist in his own right - and behind that amazing recent Palestine comp). they also didn't go overboard with it, most of the show was really just about letting the songs shine which they def did, occassionally w some cool transitions and flourishes but keeping it very tasteful as always.

Def hoping for u US folk that Detente is able to join her on that tour later this year as well. I am really jealous of the ppl who got all the special guests on this tour tho especially Salv in Paris performing Komodo w her 😭 underscores apparently also joined her a couple times

it was pretty perfect that it was just a cheap gig in a very intimate venue which sold out months ago which made for a nice crowd, also her performing like 6 months pregnant added to this intimacy feeling tbh (+ just very hot but maybe that's just me). I did expect this a bit but they weren't the most respectful for Malibu opening tho sadly and it felt like she was holding back a bit. did get to meet her briefly at the merch table tho she's mad cute also leaked me her debut album is coming September
