Their gonna make a whole GTA movie from scratch using it

Idk if screenrant got a secret scoop or what but a GTA movie doesn’t really intrigue me at all. However,I definitely think if Rockstar was to make a GTA movie,it’ll be on their own terms and faithful to GTA,so much so that it’ll actually use in-game graphics for the movie. Idk why I’m making a thread about this but I just think that’d be insane if they introduce their new game engine(which they are most likely working on)with a whole movie.
It’ll change video game movies forever
they already do this with every game they release theres like 15 hours of in game cutscenes in red dead 2
thats 7 movies in one game lmao

I’m talking a theatrical movie using their next in-game engine, which will most likely be insane cause RDR2 already looks crazy using what they have now. I don’t want a GTA movie unless they can somehow pull some s*** like that off.
We'll know if they release Max Payne 4 to demo the new engine/shooting mechanics for GTA 6
They're rockstar they don't gotta make a movie
All they working on is finding people with ideas to sell more shark cards
GTA isn't well known for it's storytelling, more so it's world. Showcasing that aspect in a full fledged movie seems wasteful compared to a compact, accessible and to the point trailer.
Of the top of my head, Final Fantasy have CGI movies (not in-game graphics) as tie-ins to the series which makes more sense as the games themselves are lengthy and story-driven.

GTA is definitely known for their stories tho
RDR2 wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for that GOAT story.
I always expect top teir stories for GTA

RDR2 isn't GTA, that's just Rockstar.
I personally just wouldn't call GTA as a series story-driven games, fx only know a handful of people whom actually completed the main story in 5. Most people just seems to d*** with mechanics and play online
