Like I don't get it, they got all flustered that me being young that I don't want to work 10 and 12 hour shifts 7 days a week.

    #1 I need to workout
#2 There's more to life than working

Then they said it's dumb I don't have a brand new car. Nigga no, I want to save money the hell I need a new car.

What really triggered them was when they said I planned on riding my bicycle to work instead of my car. They weren't coming at me like I was crazy they just disagreed with me.

Because I live so close the bicycle is actually a lot faster and I don't have to get up ungodly early to find parking.

I like having a low cost of living.

Tell em they wouldn’t need to work as many hours if they didn’t blow their money on unnecessary new cars to impress people that don’t matter

Saving a few thousand to buy a used car thats a few years old and higher mileage, but will last you a long time

    • zero monthly payments for years (only financial idiots and the super rich think adding monthly payments, regardless of cost, to their budgets is a good idea)

    • you own the f***ing car

    • resale is not a "worry" unless you live in a city with a total population of 10 people

    • any half decent insurance will reimburse you for full blue book if you wreck and arent at fault

    • why the hell do you need a new car every 3-5 years? thats the dumbest s*** ive ever heard

financial idiot ? more rich and smart than you for sure

you dont save s*** to buy a used car you'll end up spending as much in repair and maintenance it's a point you can't just deny

you own it but its not worth a penny lmao what's the point ?

yes resale is a worry since everyone will always offers you less than what u ask for

because you can, and bc it's deductible you actually spend money on a car that is useful and not sending it to the gov taxes for nothing :)

Literally none of what you said here is remotely true

You are indeed a financial idiot

Why not complete your transformation into financial lobotomy by signing up for 7 different credit cards cause "its a good way to establish credit"

Like i said, only rich people and idiots think like you — and that doesnt mean you necessarily have to be one or the other

I get most of what you're saying but how are you going to save up money without working??

even if you have someone supporting you financialy you can stack more $ with work.....

now as far as 12 hrs shifts 7 days a week part goes...everyone gets the type of work schedule that fits their specialty and education.

For example I'm a hs dropout so I'll never get money without physical-exhausting labor. That's just how it is

But on some real s***, never let people tell you you should have a brand new car brand new clothes brand new whatever cause most of the time they same types of people that get a divorce at their mid 30s disappointed with life and then go spend their life savings on blackjack or some s***

be you and be happy with you
