Who else we got? If you were a Stan before MBDTF rollout you qualify for old heads status
Been a stan since college dropout, f***ed with every kanyealbum until "ye"
never understood when people said OG kanye fans dont rock with him anymore, becasue i did. but now i get it
he fell off hard with this one tbh
Damn man, crazy how Ye been around my whole life
CD - I was too young to buy explicit by myself (12) so my grandparents had to get it for me. That whole album just reminds me of being a kid, going on trips with my grandparents, going to the store with them, all that (RIP grandma )
LR- my 8th grade girlfriend got me this album I remember this is where I started to become my own person, this album reminds me of watching the Touch the Sky video play on MTV2s Sucka Free Sunday’s after staying up late watching Beavis and Butthead and the Andy Milonakis show on MTV. Truly the GOAT times
Grad - I was a sophomore in HS. I remember this s*** leaked on KanyeTalk (or was it KanyeLive then???). I walked into school bumping Stronger everyday lol. My friend would always take an ear but out of my ear and be like “yep... knew it” I remember during our homecoming football came stronger played and everyone looked at me and started turning up
808s - dropped when I was a junior going through a lot of anxiety and heartbreak this album literally helped me get through some of the hardest times of my life
MBDTF - dropped during my first year of college. S*** made me feel so lit. So confident to pursue what I wanted to pursue and not give a f*** what anyone thinks. I was heavy into music production at this time, and this album inspired me in my work
Yeezus - came out right after me and my gf of 5 years broke up. I was super hurt over it, and songs like BOTL and HML and Bound 2 really spoke to me. I used to walk around my neighborhood blasting those songs at like 3am lol
TLOP - nothing really emotionally connecting me to this one, however, I had some great turn up times too it in my early 20s
ye - Came out when I was going through a real bought of anxiety and depression. I made some dumb decisions and songs like ITAKY, Wouldn’t Leave and Ghost Town really spoke to me. I’m not too proud to say I cried to that album
JIK - this is the first album I can say I cannot relate to, and doesn’t speak to me. I really actually don’t f*** with it at all. If anything, it showed me how old I’m getting. The artists I idolized my whole life has fallen off. I always supported Ye through everything, but I think I can’t anymore. He’s finally too far gone
I think I qualify I’m 26 but I’ve been a fan of Ye since he released Graduation and been on KTT since before yeezus

Same bro, I've been a fan since Jesus Walks used to pop on the radio, by the time Graduation was rolling out and he was having the competition with 50 (who I was also a big fan of at the time) I was a certified Kanye stan.
New stans (post Yeezus normally) just don't understand what it was like vibing with Kanye back in the day. It was a totally different experience to be a Kanye fan that it is nowadays. Back then the only s*** people talked about him was about comparing himself to Jesus on the rolling stone cover and saying s*** like "George Bush doesn't care about black people."
Kanye stan straight from the Southside of Chicago. Used to be a semi insider as I know Really Doe personally and met Ye before he was Ye. Got full story on Doe being the guy Nas referred to in We major. Everyone talks about Yeezus and TLOP era but nothing will ever compare to Graduation era skipping classes at Chicago State to go cop 3 copies of Graduation. Think this qualifies me.

Damn that's amazing, what ever happened to Really Doe?
Definitely an old head. 34 years of age. Fan since CD, Stan since Grad. Been on KTT since before Yeezus.

Spent every day of my data structure class on Kanye talk graduation era

He back in the city. Haven't heard from him in a while. I do have some old videos that he shot for some of his music circa 06-07. If I can dig up the old DVDs Ill try and post here.

30 yo from CA
been stanning ye ever since I heard CD in late '04 right before LR came out. I remember crying the first time I heard Family Business. Nothing was truly ever the same for me.
Saw him at Late Orchestration, GitD, Coachella, Yeezus, SHMG era, and Pablo.
The man has been responsible for some of the greatest moments of my life. I'm glad to see him this happy but it's def hard to accept that nothing lasts forever.
That would be amazing. Gotta be some super rare s***.
Yeah we talking some shot at local nightclubs they rented out on the Northside of Chicago videos. Listening to the stories he would tell about being out in LA with Ye back then was amazing.

Put me on! Been a fan long enough to have the opening lines of Through The Wire as my AIM Away Message 🤷🏻♂️. This newest album is really making me miss the good times fr fr. Glad to see it ain’t just kids in here lol.

I defintiely thought Love Lockdown was horrible. But the OG version of Robocop made me a believer leading up to the album. Then when I heard Amazing I was all the way IN

Legit threw the CD out the window when I first listened to 808s lmao. Love it now though.
Crazy thing is I hated Late Registration on first half ass listen. I was like what is this s*** its nothing like CD and pre CD era stuff. I called my cousin spazzing out. He still talks s*** to me about that to this day. LR is my favorite Ye album by far though.
Who else here thought it was odd first time hearing him refer to himself as yeezy? True old heads will remember when he went simply by K.

Here I was expecting some Bring Me Down type verses on JIK...
Everybody feel a way about K but at least y'all feel something
Add me. I used to watch the All Falls Down and Slow Jamz videos on MTV Jams.. downloaded Late Registration on Limewire and then bought Graduation on release date to beat 50
Thought 808s was a disaster when it came out but quickly turned around on it
STILL LOVE YE AND THHIS NEW ALBUM
