I wouldn’t expect anyone to know what’s currently on Disney Channel. The Disney Plus show on the other hand has that nostalgia factor plus it’s plastered on the same service that many of us go to weekly to watch the newest Marvel or Star Wars shows.

It’s really simple to figure out why most of the people on this site wouldn’t have heard of Olivia before Drivers License.

Jessie is like 10 years old so it’s plausible to think that a good amount of people on here were in the Disney demographic when it started. About like 9-13 (I know many on here are older).

The difference between now and then is that people don’t have cable anymore. So when you take that into account, Disney Channel doesn’t have much of an impact as it used to.

Disney Plus, where the show shes currently on is, does.

Plus, the show shes on is a High School Musical spin-off. That triggers that nostalgia factor for people who were of age when High School Musical was a global phenomenon, back in the days where cable was king.
