Stupid Song gives me Arcade Fire crossed with Taylor vibes

Not bad

Biggest issue with this album and a lot of O-Rod songs is they always have this kind of build towards something big. That isn’t bad but she doesn’t have a lot of dynamic variety, which I think she could play around with a lot more

I wish her songwriting let some subtle moments play out. works well on begged but the cure could have worked a lot better as an acoustic cut or at least been less bombastic

That being said, some good songs on here

Also totally fine with a half decent Cure or Gary Numan influenced song

I can sympathize with the idea that she could let her songs breathe more, but I couldn’t disagree more about The Cure. Without the build, it’s just worse Everlong lol

The Cure is my fav song of hers, amazing track.

look I haven't listened to this and probably won't but I hear the lead single (drop dead?) regularly enough and imo it's pretty bad. Like a weird ai generated approximation of an Olivia Rodrigo (who I thinks generally makes pretty good pop music) song!

It's one of the weaker tracks on the album imo. (I still enjoy it though)

i wasn't a big fan of it but the album has exceeded all of my (albeit preconceived) expectations. As much as I love guts this might have topped it pause

Yeah she makes good songs, but I can't connect with the O-rod hype. I'm too far removed from her target demographic

Didn’t get the instant classic feel I got when I heard GUTS but still a great album
