Not going to the tour or purchasing any merch haunts me to this day.
I got you homie
yeezus is one of my favorite albums man
Very underrated and weirdly didn't influence music as much as i thought it would
but it def influenced me and my ear for music
I really dont get what people hear when they dont like it
S*** sounds as 4k as it did when it dropped

The amount of people trying to turn down YEEZUS is hilarious
I was stanning Yeezus the day it came out. Went crazy over Black Skinhead, New Slaves, and I Am a God when they were first performed.
Yeezus still sounds ahead of it’s time.
It has some of Kanye’s most aggressive flows and clever word play. The futuristic brutal production can’t be ignored. Kanye’s second best produced album behind MBDTF. Yet it sounds so natural and beautiful. I don’t think anyone or even Kanye can replicate something like that.
Oh and Kanye was pretty controversial during this era but for all the right reasons.

If the Yeezus Era happened during these times, Ye would have been loved by everyone. It probably would have been his most well received era of all time by the masses
The beginning of mogul Ye
The vision ain’t for everybody
True but also the end of musician Ye which was a loss
When was this thread written, 2013? who doesn’t love Yeezus at this point? modern classic

Nah he still had plenty in the tank for Pablo
And KSG exists , so I can’t fully agree

I think all Ye albums are great but can’t help but feel he lowered his standard significantly starting in CS/Yeezus era
I don't regret stanning it in 2013-14. It just did hold up. At this point I can listen to only all of the album.
