Set in the fictional city of Macondo, One Hundred Years of Solitude is a magical realism series about the Buendía family over generations and is an adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez’s infamously unfilmable novel by the same name
One of the most interesting books I’ve read to date. Hopefully this is a faithful adaptation all the weird bits included. Could be kino if done right
ironically, i'm reading the book right now so this is perfect
How do you like it so far?

only two chapters in so can't say too much but I like the writing. I definitely can see his influence over the magical realism genre.

It got the green light/ blessing from his son I think. Hopefully this does the book justice man, really incredible work.
Dropped today finna check out the first episode tonight
Been watching this, on episode 6, been loving this
Ngl this is a wild ass story, is this adaptation faithful to the books?
Thought this was a movie at first, but it's a series. Each episode a lil over an hour too, so you get a lot of content.

Haven’t started the show yet but the book is every bit as “out there” as I hope the show is lmao
Def worth a read after
Colonel Aureliano Buendia
You f***ing see it
Finally finished episode one. This s*** is crazy I’m glad they’re doing the book justice
It’s also gorgeous visually and whoever directed the first ep broke their foot off in it
Finishing the book today and will start this show this week as well.
How’d you like the book?
Some of the sets from the show also look 1:1 with how I pictured them when I read it which is a cool
