how long did it take y’all to get into OP? I’m on Alabasta now and I feel like this is really the point where it’s picking up. I read East Blue in manga, watched drum island and little garden. I feel like reading dbz and watching naruto kinda ruined anime for me cause it’s just fights 24/7.

For me personally I loved the East blue, only lull was When we get Usopp in Syrup Village. But Sanji on the Baratie and Arlong park got me hooked.

But to your point, once I passed Alabasta, I already had in my mind that One Piece is the greatest adventure anime I’ve ever seen. And it truly only gets better and better

Yeah, I felt like the villains in East Blue were boring. But Baroque Works villains are really dope. I guess for me I prefer reading manga because I can get through it faster but i like watching fights in anime

Fishman Island is blowing me a way so far I remember being bored reading the manga 10 years ago but this hits so much harder as an adult. The world of one piece is just I can't even describe how is oda crafting something this good and not just fishman but grander story too like wtf

2 of the top admirals in the entire marines are not losing to prime garp, in a 1v1 I'd take Garp, but handicap match that's easy for them two. I'd go as far to say that 2 admirals vs ANY CHARACTER is always going to be a win for the admirals
