I had my problems with Wano as an arc but that last chapter was excellent and really wrapped things up perfectly. Yamato actually had a meaningful character arc, something I was worried Oda wasn’t going to give her. I’m excited to get back to the crew as a whole going on adventures. Let’s gooooo!!!

I mean she still wants to go out to see but not right now . She also was introduced as an Oden Stan that wanted to follow his footsteps so it’s not outside of the realm of possibility that a oden Stan would want to explore a free wano before taking off to sea . She’s literally following in the footsteps of her idol. I can agree that maybe the mindset shift should have got more detail prior but it’s not some ridiculous shift. It’s honestly just a slight detour since she’s still going to leave wano eventually

Her joining the crew would have been infinitely worse writing. This at least allows for her to discover herself and maybe have a satisfying character arc.

Why does oda keep alluding to stuff and then a few chapters later backtrack and end up doing nothing with it. That zunesha s*** waa already stupid, he did it again with Yamato. If she wasnt meant to join just say it😭😭😭

This was the weakest chapter of the 3 released since break ended but it was a nice sendoff!!! On to the next one
