Anime always changing hype lines from the manga and making them lame. 😒
"The sea is for pirates to fight on".
But, the raid is about to start in the anime!!! All greatness incoming.

I'm re-watching WCI atm and I feel like taking back what I said about BM plus her DF and Brook's DF make me think about how DFs can transcend life and death

I like that she has personality. The fact that'll one second she'll wax Ulti then the next she'll turn to the SH's and say I don't f*** with y'all either and do them next makes her interesting to say the least.
Then when it comes to fighting on the rooftop she was the one that had to warn Kaido to dodge Zoro's slash, she was perfect in her assistance as well reigning down amazing move one after the other and it took Luffy having to distract Kaido for them all to work together just to get rid of her. AND - I think this is forgotten - SHE HAS NOT TOOK AN OUNCE OF DAMAGE FROM ANYONE SINCE WE'VE BEEN INTRODUCED TO HER. Even Roger didn't fight her head up, he snuck in and took her poneglyph rubbing then dipped, I think that says a lot.
WB & BM best Yonkous atm. Kaido is getting interesting too, I think by the end of this arc he could be up there. And we all just like Shanks but we know very little about him tbh.
Her and WB

Valid points and a nice response to my problems with her. I applaud you, sir.
but I think Kaido is more of an interesting character than BM and I'm not talking just battle s\*\*\* only....kaido can be the key to many of the one piece mysteries although If I recall correctly BM used to call him little bro so that kinda gives her the advantage of being his senor
either way BM is still my less favourite yonko but at least now due to your posts I sort of got more respect for her and if I'm being honest there's not many OP characters that can rival WB, Shanks or even Blackbeard cause besides Kaido and BM the yonko are such an imposing threat so it all comes down to preference instead of objectivity
so neither of us is wrong or right
I just noticed recently how the time gap between new episodes to new chapters has built a decent momentum where there's no room for boredom ......at least for Wano cause during dresrossa I went manga-only
it can be daunting for someone to start 900+ series but there's also the benefit of ''uncharted waters'' (pun intended)
so if you still got 100s of episodes/chapters to catch up on like some people itt do, enjoy it while you can

People who are still catching up, enjoy the ride.
Because soon enough, you’re gonna feel just like this along with the rest of us fans

Finished Water 7 this weekend
I could write a ton about this arc, but I'll keep it relatively short, since I know most of you guys are way past it, but I still wanna share my thoughts.
What a f***ing arc. 100% passed Drum Island as my favorite arc so far. Absolute banger. I love how it became this attempted assassination/murder mystery story when CP9 was introduced. And they way they were introduced was so hard too, just a quick, distorted "CP9" as Blueno walked past Robin. Instantly created so much mystery and intrigue about what CP9 was and how Robin was involved.
Luffy vs Usopp
It was horrible to see them go through that and the flashbacks to all their good times made it so much worse. But I know they'll link up again and make it right
RIP Going Merry
Franky is a great addition. At first I thought he was kinda annoying, but I warmed up to him and he's actually really funny. Him being a cyborg was not expected at all. I like how he's basically a swiss army knife like Usopp, but with actual useful tools and abilities that aren't dependent on deception. When he almost crushed Blueno's face with one hand
I expected Robin's past to be full of pain and loss and it's sad to see that I was right. I can't wait to see more about this weapon and why she's apparently the only one able to "revive" it.
Humor was also on point this arc. Definitely the funniest one yet. Also, Chopper sudden VA switch was really weird. I looked it up and I guess his VA had just had a baby so she was on leave. I'm glad it was only for a few episodes though, cause I really didn't like his new voice.
On to Enies Lobby! I remember seeing a clip from this arc on r/Anime and it's what made me want to start watching, so it's really cool to finally be here.

amazing arc, glad you enjoyed it
top 2 usopp moments, s*** had me tearing up and yeah, CP9 introduction was like denzel shooting that one guy in the restaurant or whatever in American Gangster aka Major Drip
speaking of franky tho....

once you see it you cant unsee it
