Niggas were saying it was ai meant this s*** was doa
I think they said it was AI because of how it released. It dropped randomly as a voice note in DJ Akademik’s Reddit and the version that originally leaked was even more bare bones than the one in OP

That's what I mean, people cast doubt on it on arrival due to how it dropped that means that the impact was blunted
“Ya last one bricked, you really not on s***, they make excuses for you cuz they hate to see me lit, pull ya contracts cuz we gotta see the splits, the way you doin splits b**** ya pants might rip”
That time between Like That and Euphoria must hav been pure bliss for them Drake stans
They thought they was winning
how will kendrick come back from this?
how will kendrick come back from this?
Tell that little boy to drop!!!
I respect your opinion but I feel like this is a bit of revisionist history. I don’t think anyone anticipated how crazy it would’ve gotten between Drake and Kendrick at this point so I feel like this song made sense at the time at least to me going at everyone at once. Family Matters though I 100% agree with you
Respect reciprocated, but I never saw a scenario where Kendrick replied without going straight for the head. The only points of confusion in my mind were: 1. Would Kendrick actually respond any time soon/outside of a new album, 2. Are all these other niggas about to start flooding Drake with diss records, and 3. Is it possible to still make the narratives about Drake compelling/is there more dirt to find.
I still think that even for a first shot, the content here is lacking and he didn't sew any interesting seeds, but you're right about it not being fair to hold that against this record by itself. That's all only a problem once we get deeper into the battle.
Drakes best Kendrick beef song
S*** is catchy af

Oh yeah for sure I mean content wise there were a few good jabs but otherwise it was very mild. I get it I mean he probably was just trying to get jokes off but that’s why I disagree with his philosophical approach throughout the beef even at this point. Kendrick isn’t one of these other dudes or Meek or anyone that doesn’t command respect and treating it with seriousness. Ironically enough I feel like a Duppy like response would’ve worked better here and a Push Ups response would’ve worked better against Pusha. Just misread both from the jump
Push Ups was one of his best songs in years
Many of you already said tho, he had no actual material to diss Kenny with so it ultimately did not work
Great gym song tho
never heard this what he dissing kendrick for
he just wanted to feel seen i think
Everybody completely forgot about that Rick Ross song lol
Side mission ass song
people thinking kendrick was cooked after this and taylor made dropped is hilarious in hindsight
I recall being right beside the CN tower when it leaked, very Toronto of me
but the song doesn’t hold up
still have not heard more than the first 20 secs of this. all the weirdos saying dot was f***ed after this i just knew this song was some mid s***
