unless you want diminished cognitive abilities

I'm staying in an AirBnB with NO WINDOWS. Normally at home I keep the windows open 24/7 because I've noticed I feel bad when they're shut for a long time

now I know why. My girlfriend and I had splitting headaches after 2 nights in this AirBnB, so I bought an air quality monitor off of amazon and found out my room's CO2 levels are over 1,000 PPM

Common symptoms of 1000+ PPM CO2 levels are dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, headaches, and diminished cognitive ability

So I set up several fans to create airflow from an open window in another room into my bedroom. Now the CO2 levels are down to a comfortable 500-600

Good thing too because my girlfriend and I were suddenly getting into a lot more arguments

Moral of the story: keep your windows open. You need the fresh air

also, keep your car windows down when you drive. I tested the air and the CO2 shot up like a rocket to 2,000+ PPM as soon as I closed the windows, even with AC on

I fw this idea as far as when I’m in the house or driving down the street, but I feel like having your windows down on the freeway or near a lot of traffic can be horrible air quality too because of the exhaust fumes around you

Thank you op. Not once in my life have I considered Co2 levels in my room besides a closed garage.

Air purifiers, yes, but never considered this though. I am advocate for fresh air, though I love ac too.

    Peace op
