WHO TF MADE MADE JUDGEMENT? Literally every mission is the same with the same weak ass street thugs. Can’t even f***ing drive and the map is smaller than what’s in my pants tf. Game has more cut scenes that actual missions. Chapter 6 was literally all cut scenes I was like
if I wanted to a watch a sleazy ass movie I would got one. I’m playing this s*** on simple mode so I can finish it and never play it again. Currently on chapter 9.
How is lost judgment?
Lost judgement pretty much fixed everything wrong with the first game, including lack of vehicles. I highly recommend it. You won’t regret it

Can I drive in that?
Imagine not watching a story summary of Judgement and moving on to the real game, Lost Judgement.
Op you had poor judgement and bought a s***ty game or a game not to your taste so infact you have already paid for having bad judgement
enjoy your saturday and ps you still owe for when i cashed app you that 30 bucks to order uber eats i hope it was delicious but i want my money
you find them boring too?
Like a Dragon will let you do two things then give you like 4 cut scenes and text to read in a row. I don't understand games that are that controlling

Like a dragon is the most interesting yakuza game

I feel gaming has gotten too cut scene, slow walking heavy in recent years. When a lot of the time you could deliver the same information without the player feeling they can put their controller down. Its like suddenly everyone is trying to be Kojima when they not

Yea I agree. That’s why I don’t get the praise for those cinematic games that play like movies…. Like just go watch a film. The best narratives are told through gameplay
That said, all yakuza games are like that and I found it the most tolerable in LAD cause I liked the characters

I am trying to give more games a chance but thats definitely a pet peeve when it feels too on rails or movie like when I want to play a game. When we have like the exact same experiences because there is only one way to correctly play the game. Thats why your niche unique games thread was valuable

Bro they gassed up uncharted 2 so much. I played it and it was okay. It’s just an action movie. I got bored after a bit and dropped it
TLOU2 was pretty cinematic but at least had good gameplay and an interesting story
You’re on point about us all having the same experience. It leaves nothing to talk about except for the story. Basically turns into a movie thread. Look at the elden ring thread, everybody has tons of stories about some s*** they did, it’s beautiful

That's why my focus may just turn towards Elden Ring and Hitman for a bit. Hope coop and multiplayer takes off more next year too

I love hitman but I’m too small brained and always f*** everything up
Don’t think I’ve ever had a good run

sounds like you were running straight from story point to story point. LAD has the most mini games I’ve ever seen in a game, and it also has a f*** ton of side content. you’ll miss all of that if you don’t look
but wait you really complaining about having to read in a JRPG?
I tried to tell everyone asking about it that s*** was extremely repetitive. There's a lot to like about it but the utter f***ing monotony makes it unbearable.
Running around the same smallish city is much easier in Yakuza 0 bulecause there is so much to do.
That formula doesn't work well if the games don't have an absolute s*** ton of side content.
My Yakuza kick was from Yakuza 0 until kiwami 2.
7 wasn't bad but I don't care for the battle system.
But I don't have much interest in picking up another game in any of these series till there's more change.
aight yeah i gotta block you again
I am joking I have only tried like a dragon . S*** didn't hook me though

Sometimes I can immerse in a JRPG and sometimes I can't. I probably need a bigger tv and headphones again. Reading in JRPG not bad but just got to mix up delivery of story content.
