Some of you won't like this (Kanye people and people who think this narrative is tired - when it never is for Drake). But the second half (possibly most) of this song, I heard from many different levels and methods in pointing towards Kanye direction:

1) The influx he uses at the end of his lines immediately after entering the flow "the sound is CHAMpion" (CANcerous, ANswerin) is typical Kanye flow dating back to College Dropout / Graduation) - in fact, just listen to the similarities to Champion - Kanye.

2) Drake been on Kanyes head in these songs, hammering him on radio hit after radio hit, "I know yall sick of me". Seems like he feels like its still all love despite the trickery - and that he thinks Kim is realer than him (considering Drake knew kim before they got married and s***). The last line feels like a f*** you like "it aint you and Jay on the throne its Jay then me".

Idk about all this with Lucky Lefty but LNCL is damn sure entirely 200% dissing Kanye throughout the song (outside of Durk's verse obviously)

I definitely thought the champion bars was kanye-esq flow from back then as well.

I took it as Drake showing how easy it is mimick kanye style as if he tryna prove kanye got other people to do his flows/lyrics from that era. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Probably a reach but I couldn’t think of any other reason he might use the flow. Definitely not homage though cuz I feel he still affected by what he thinks kanye did.
