He drops a tape then goes on IG live and plays 2 songs, one of which “Lie to Me”, is melodically and vocally so far ahead, it’s scary. It’s got this inspirational tone mixed with a reminiscent vibe. And the song as a whole gives the sense of hope

The way he hits those notes when he says:

“We were supposed to catch a viiiibe the other niiight”

He’s entering a whole other dimension of R&B. I remember when he said wait until I get older, I’m going to do straight R&B.

And these could possibly be unfinished and are rips from a live. In short, if this is what’s coming, I don’t see him losing a grip on the game for the next 5+ years and that’s scary.

I feel you, I personally think the songs have enormous potential because of the melody and his vocals, but I'm more fixated on the fact that he is sounding even better vocally at this stage in his career. That to me, is really just unheard of.
