Like I said there’s maybe 3 songs that aren’t my thing but they’re not even bad and I can see them growing on me

I don’t believe in gatekeeping but I do think that you shouldn’t act like you’re a fan if you say that cuz it’s just cool to like something
Rambling, and I hate to use this word, but “newgens” have created this weird dissonance between people who are actually passionate about music and then the ones who ride waves, but they’re the vocal majority so artists see their opinions more, and that can really negatively affect how they perceive their music and their output. I mean look at how Summrs has been doing.. Literally self harmed after his last album did poorly, not saying that’s the only reason but it couldn’t have helped. Even Uzi has been in limbo because of this for years.
I know that this isn’t really relevant but it’s been on my mind today and it doesn’t feel thread worthy
