I think albums there have been projects in the “””Rage/Underground””” genre that have come close if not surpassed WLR in a lot of aspects (production for one).

However, I do really still view WLR as as being THE one tbh and i also think we got the best version of that project… besides Locked In being excluded.

Up 2 Me and Project X would be right behind it

What don’t you like about that project?

I know the way he was rapping on there outside of So What is far removed from how he sounds now, but the production is near flawless for me.

I do also acknowledge having a bit of an attachment to that era of Ken thus making me like it more.

i guess my takes from this are

i think NS didn't age great... Ultra is amazing tho

Ken's best lost files type tape is X23 and if he condensed X and added some of the tracks from there, it would easily be his project

Lone Unreleased would be in the top tier if that was a project

also i'm assuming the bandana carti cover is V1 leaks, the @ MEH red edit is V2, and I'm counting the IAMMUSIC cover as all the singles + leaks from that era so far

L3 used to be my fav but X23 is really f***ing good 2 me in retrospect

like it's crazy how he left some of that s*** off of X... legit some of the best beats he's ever rapped on
