bruh where’s the hunger? he just started what da hell

After sitting with the album since release and letting it marinate here’s the final verdict/some of my thoughts - or perhaps some changes that happened for me since first two or three listens

Those first two tracks are so damn good man, great way to start the album and i just hate that mid 4 ya comes right after and kills the tempo because crystal clear and baby money are so good as well

Lock in finally fully clicked, i was saying that it’s maybe my favorite instrumental on there but i was b****ing about the energy he came with for the track compared to something like Doubt It but i get it now, its good

Those first 11 tracks are it with the exception of luv4ya (and maybe say that which is just alright to me), such a shame that the second half feels much less focused

Ship her off grew on me

Honestly + take a trip still an amazing combo even tho i feel like i lowkey kinda overplayed Take a trip by now

Extra high is just pure mid i’m sorry, i tried to give it more chances but it’s just a useless track, miss

Amerika + thrill grew on me quite a lot even tho i was b****ing about those two first listen, especially amerika grew on me lots…. i still do think that Thrill is one of the weakest songs in the ken x lone catalogue but it kinda hits, it’s not bad

Pass me the keys my least fav song on there alongside Extra high and Luv4ya, i know that one got quite a few fans in there but i just can’t with this one, don’t like it tbh

Overall while i think that ilck has much better highs I’d prolly rather spin LLF in full instead of ilck, this one has much less filler to me and flows pretty decently tbh, especially until Doubt It - kinda falls off in focus right after but there’s still some highlights even after that thankfully…. replayability is surprisingly very decent to me tbh

the uninspired, colourless point still stands and that it’s sorta just a shade of lone’s older self that doesn’t have that hunger in him no more and lacks flavor but i guess i like this for what it is quite a bit:)
