If Barbie gets the acclaim and the numbers (a certainty at this point), I’d say it’s more favored than spiderverse simply because the Academy loves Greta Gerwig

Plenty of Nolan fans I’ve met irl and on the internet admit he’s got his flaws.
But every Denis fan I’ve ever met thinks they’re some true cinema nerd who understands the artform and think in terms of “real art”
