Any Orange County fam on here? We got a massive gas leak that’s making national news because 40,000 residents are being evacuated because basically the firefighters are saying it’s down to 2 scenarios:

1) The tank explodes sending a plume of smoke of a very toxic chemical into the sky

2) The tank fails and 6,000-7,000 gallons of a very toxic chemical pour out, emitting toxic gases in the air

Latest update like a scene out of the Chernobyl show too: basically they’re saying they thought it was improving but they sent some team members in and realized that the internal temperature not only went down, but went UP 20 degrees and is increasing at a rate of 1 degree an hour

Meanwhile there’s a wildfire in Simi Valley close to a nuclear plant and a construction crew busted an oil pipeline that spilled into the LA River

Worst case scenario this thing explodes, the gas is supposed to be 3x heavier than air, so it’s not like it’s going to travel all over OC. That’s why the evacuation zone is relatively contained.

I go up to LA pretty often but my day to day is in Newport, Laguna, Irvine, etc
