HimotheeI’m convinced this assasination attempt was a coordinated attack. Could be a rogue govt agency. Could be a Dem donor with money to spare.
The timing is just too suspicious. Dems have spent the last 2 weeks to get Biden to drop out. He dug his heels in this week and made the two biggest gaffes — President Putin, Vice President Trump — just two days ago. Chances Dems win with him are ZERO.
When Biden drops out, the DNC convention will be disarray with no clear frontrunner to lead the ticket.
Meanwhile, the RNC is taking place on Monday and everything is in Trump’s favor.
BUT: if the shooter had succeeded in offing Trump, the RNC would be in complete chaos.
Trump has not decided on nor narrowed down who his Vice President would be. He was going to announce on Wednesday.
Offing before that would’ve opened a vacuum and it would’ve evened the playing field and led the GOP to the same situation as Dems.

Maybe, depends on how Trump and those around him handle it.
If he starts going on conspiracy tangents, or those close to him do, I could see that being a turn off.
And if any MAGA supporters start trying some s*** in retaliation I also don’t see that going over well.
