The reality is that the rap game has ALWAYS been competitive. Niggas don't need to be sending diss tracks or shots at each other for that to hold true so his reasoning behind the name-calling on Control was stupid and unnecessary and acting like no rapper should have felt a way about that is silly.
Any rapper who was in their feelings over the Control verse is a sensitive clown

Eh it wasn’t really competitive around that time. I was there. He’s not saying mfs weren’t making great music but everyone was avoiding talking their s*** around that time and he was right about that. It was almost like people were being extremely politically correct in the game in the early 10s and Kendrick shook that part up and that’s when we got more aggressive music (even from Drake himself)

I honestly lowkey hate what this site has become lately. It got better when Ye and Drake squashed their beef but ever since last year around this time it’s just been annoying. I mainly hate how you cannot have a discussion with most Drake stans without them either catching feelings or being shallow

All I can do is speak for myself but even with Drake as my favorite artist I got a lot of love for the artists he has/had beef with and his personal issues with them don’t reflect back to me
