NoirNot a dealbreaker for me at all, just one reason why I thought the first act was pretty rough, especially tonally. It gets a lot better as it goes along.
His daughter is probably my favorite character in the movie and I like how the story develops from there.
Yeah I treat the first 30 minutes more like a prologue than an actual first act.
More back story than anything
