I’m all for women being recognized but the issue is, they shouldn’t be nominated for the sake of having a p****. In 2019, no women director deserved being nominated over any of the men nominated. Sure you could say Tod Phillips but he took a dead universe, pumped a small budged and made over a billion whilst giving that genre a new twist. Every other director deserves his spot.
How come no one is making a huge deal for the Safdie’s not being or Sandler? Enough with this s***.
