I liked Okja
It was like an anime like movie. Vegan messaging without going too too hard. Allowed actors to cook a lil bit outside of typecasting.
Damn that’s how I feel about Okja
I don’t even wanna talk about that one
Couple hours left before the noms come out!
check it out here,

link also in OP!
Riz Ahmed (“The Sound of Metal”) and Allison Williams (“M3GAN”) will host the 2023 Oscar nominations announcement, which will be broadcast live on ABC’s “Good Morning America”
I don’t even wanna talk about that one
I just wanna know what d**** Jake Gyllenhaal was on
Need a shocker in director. It looks stale as hell. Charlotte Wells over the Daniels
Ostlund over the Daniels
anyone over the Daniels
!!!
Obviously they’ll get in tho.
But if Berger gets that 5th spot

Nah that was Jake being 100% himself lowkey
It’s good but it didn’t stick with me like Mother or Memories of Murder did :hing:
Same
Nope
Can’t tell if it’s just a bit, or u genuinely don’t think it’s some of the best cinematography of the year

It’s very good but the stuff that’s getting nominated for cinematography this year is so f***ed. Like if you look at gold derby I genuinely believe the 6-10 is better than the 1-5. Of the films that are almost certainly going to get snubbed in the category, I have at least 2-3 of them in front of Nope.

I’m sure if I saw Bardo I’d agree.
Babylon’s cinematography reminded me A LOT of PTA’s early work.
Also, I’m just someone who likes pretty images, I don’t actually have any technical basis for my opinions lol.
