The insane love for that movie has baffled me all year. Like, I feel like the animation carries? The story, characters (besides Death), and humor are really nothing special.

I'm sitting here only vaugely liking and disliking them all.

As an og Elvis stan I expected to hate it but was very pleasantly surprised but it's still just a 3/5. Same with Top Gun. Liked parts of EE but other parts make me want to self harm. Cronenberg came and went with a few quotables. Even my boy Eggers let me down. Banshees is no Bruges. Fablemans no Irishman. Cate was good but film to on the nose for this era. Cameron lacks the clout to have me sit in the cinema for 4 hours.

Thoroughly enjoyed Puss In Boots, Multiverse of Madness and Wakanda Forever so I should probably just retire from having opinions
