EverestRight??? I just kept thinking that the prosthetic fat suit was so over the top that the acting and script had to be more straight and sincere to balance it out
That stupid suit plus acting/line delivery/writing that felt like it’s from a stage performance or after school special amounted to something so cheap imo
I’ve seen people love it for that reason so it’s a taste thing but it just didn’t work for me
I like the spectacle of how fat he is at times, as bad as that sounds
At other points I’m like…maybe they shoulda made him slightly less fat

HaroldsChickenThe point wasn't her being a dramatic f*** up. It was everything feeling pointless is a divorcing family where she never felt she could live up to her mom expectations or what her immigrant family deserved.
Im not saying EEAAO showed how much of a f*** up she is. Im saying that The Whale actually SHOWED his life and how he lives. His families thoughts on him... I cried 4 times during the whale and it hit me more than whatever EEAAO was trying to do.
EEAAO is just some basic depression s***.
