What is wrong with y’all the plot and meaning of a movie unveils itself as it goes along. You can start most movies, turn them off as the runtime matches the length of a sitcom episode and say ‘nothing even happened it was about nothing’

You’re not gonna press play on every movie and be able to 100% accuracy know the entire thing

And Aftersun isn’t even that deep or challenging a movie, nor is it even long it’s under 2 hours.

@ranupstatefromjake its about a girl remembering a holiday she took with her dad and how she puts together signs of her dads behaviour and things he was hiding from her. Short and thoughtful little movie.
