On my first album listen this song was the brightest gem, so good I couldn't give my 100% attention to the other songs that came after it haha (I tried, I swear!)
A sunny, feel good song with crazy replay value. A properly made pop track, it leaves you the impression that it was made by a pro, working with pros, everybody involved is experienced, and they know what they're doing.
Words become meaningless explaining such beauty of a track.
Cheers, XO.
Play it loud!
Cheers, mr. Motherfucking Starboy!
Now this is a properly made song!
Make this the new standard! 😄🍻
PS. Apparently he uploaded the lyric video of the track, with footage from the album reveal party, with sugar daddy Abel conducting
Favorite song on the album. He did his very best shameless Michael Jackson impersonation on this track and it hit
@thrice It sounds like Abel's tribute/love letter to his favourite musician's legacy, reminds me of "Human Nature" (the instrumental @ the 2min mark comes to mind, the whole production actually, is similar. Silk smooth, gourmet)
One of his best songs ever. Not even hyperbole
Easily some of best songwriting he’s done in his entire career

Max Martin work on this? Who's the other writers on this (if there is any)
Because I agree. Conceptually, and lyrically, is a very well written song.
It's an excellent pop song, I can acknowledge that, but it's just a bit too corny/cringe for me. I think there's better pop songs on the album that don't feel like that.

his singing makes it work and the whole time concept going with the album bumps it up an extra level
