a lot of it boils down to people don't read theory and take short form content talking points and use it as enough fuel to build deep framework for understanding the world

reality is most americans under 35, even with social science degrees, genuinely lack a deep understanding of economics, markets, and political theory to actually articulate their frustrations

it kinda all boils down to being mad at those front facing with wealth

while in some (if not many) instances I actually agree with being angry at obscene wealth, I also think there's a culture where, like you say, anyone with money gets s*** on for little to no reason.

being frustrated at wealth inequity is one thing, but I think people look at any situation with asymmetry as if it's inherently bad.
