I want to get a horror game (I mean cmon, it's almost Halloween), but I'm torn between these two. I know Amnesia is critically acclaimed and considered a modern horror classic but Outlast 2 is newer and I enjoyed the first one quite a bit. What would you recommend between these two (or if there's another horror title I'm overlooking)? Thanks!

prob 2 since you enjoyed the first one, not gonna lie though i enjoyed the first one and somehow got all trophies for it yet when outlast 2 came out i bought it but was too scared to play it

the first one is actually scarier imo

outlast 2 is just way more f***ed up and the scenery/atmosphere is darker
