Blank Face has some good songs on it. Groovy Tony, THat Part, By Any Means, Dope Dealer, John Muir, Str8 Ballin. There are also some forgettable ass songs on there. It's not as concise, consistent, nor half as catchy as Oxymoron.
Oxymoron has 1-2 average songs and it's singles are 10x better
Yea lowkey
I agree
Oxymoron has some bad songs too, though. Every Q album has a few duds tbh.
Actually now that I look at both tracklists
They both have their fair share of mid songs and incredible ones
I’ll put them both neck and neck honestly
Although I disagree with your opinion @op , i'm not mad at it at all. Oxymoron was a dope album with great replay value as well.
I still think Blank Face LP is Schoolboy Q's magnum opus though. He ain't ever topping it.
blank face has maybe 2 bad songs lol foh with "some good songs" that s***s amazing
both are great albums though
Agreed, i never got into blank face like i did oxymoron. Oxymoron is a classic in my book

every album has some duds but he makes up for it with lots of great songs.
Didn't realize there was confusion over this
This has been the consensus since Blank Face dropped but I liked Blank Face too.

Yep. Q is one of my longtime faves
Blank Face is a stronger album in terms of structure and pacing, but I think Oxymoron has higher highs and is more memorable.

Yea tbh oxymoron lowkey a better project
Yeah. Habits and Contradictions is better than both imo, surprised nobody brought it up yet
Nah
I signed up on og KTT for Oxymoron and I still disagree
Blank Face is one of my fav hiphop albums of that decade
I prefer the vibe and direction of BF to the more accessible but safe Oxymoron
