The moment when he drives to her house to tell her about her audition and she cries saying she won’t do it
and he’s just calmly like ‘stop being a baby…you’re crying like a baby’ feels so real
and the whole dynamic between them two (and all the life/purpose/passion stuff) is way realer than it had any need to be in a movie like that. the songs and stuff are all great but I love the drama at the middle of it all just as much
