JT: What sorts of guitars, pedals and gear did you prefer to use in making this album?
P: This was the most difficult question for me to answer. I never tried to hide the truth, but I didn't want to break people's "fantasy". I also know that this answer will disappoint numerous people around the world. But I think I should be confident in myself, so I'll be 100% honest from now on. Some of the listeners may have already noticed, but almost all of the instruments in the album are VSTi.
I thought I wouldn't have to play the guitar, because I could make the sounds I wanted even if I used it as a virtual instrument. And my guitar skills are very terrible. Also in order not to get caught by anyone that I'm making music with, I had to keep as quiet as possible. That's why I made music with only one computer in the bedroom. I wanted to make a sophisticated lie rather than the unfinished truth.
After hearing this information, there will be people who think they were deceived. Some people would call my music "unqualified" to the band's music. Of course it's all my fault, and I would like to apologize about that. You can de-rate my album. But still, my goal was not to be noticed that almost everything is a virtual instrument when someone listens to my song without any background information. And if it was successful, it would be the greatest compliment.
While recording the vocals, I didn’t have a good recorder in my house, so I recorded the snippets on my old Galaxy 5 smartphone and then pasted them into the old DAW on the old computer. It's the only 'lo-fi' element in this album.

This makes me like the album more
Cuz now maybe even I could make an album this good without all that guitar experience
And brodie recorded thru a smartphone? Lol yeah no I’m inspired

embrace the unique qualities of limited equipment
can highkey be much more inspiring to have more limits. plus you probably end up with something more interesting than the polished stuff everyone's making
This is easily one of the best things I’ve heard in a while can’t believe I missed the hype train on this
