This situation has mad opened my eyes to sequencing & marketing an album like fr. Listening to the album for the first time on the live stream with the visuals and this completely different ordered tracklist s*** was absolutely HITTING, everything was flowing it felt super dynamic i was like damn this man party really did it man only to wakeup the next morning and listen thru in the way it’s ordered on the album and without the aesthetic of the visuals, and that s*** blew me away with how different of a reaction I had to it, it felt flat and dissapointing I understood why people were not vibing with it but if this man kept the Club Atlantis name/coverart, sequenced the album the way it is in the visualizer above and pulled a Flume and released the visualizer same night with all the aesthetics of Club Atlantis coming together I feel like the narrative would’ve been different

the way i saw it was the album is like 3 sounds

the first few tracks is like the darker R&B thats more single-ish

the middle is like straight pop/tropical/hits etc

and the last third is like the dark soundcloud stuff we wanted

thats just how i saw it tho
