Nah, Party needed a new vibe and that’s what we got on PM.

Working with the same producers is never a good thing because at some point the sound will get old. No matter how good the sound is.

PND doesn’t sound like PND2 and even then legend and preach and WNI were all incredibly different

True they all sound different. However one thing they have in common is the production has several layers. Party peeled some of those layers off on PM allowing the music to breathe. He probably doesn’t do that producing his own stuff.

PM is whole new vibe from anything else he’s done. It doesn’t weigh you down like his older stuff (which is great).

It’s like a MacBook compared to an iPhone. MB is more powerful, yet you are stationary using it. An iPhone is way less powerful ofc, but it’s more convenient and easier to use.

PM is easier to digest allowing to focus the lyrics more and vibe. Everything is not about having powerful production.

party is an elite producer. He's really selling himself short by not producing his own music. Dude flipped a instrumental from a German metal band and made it an r&b song.

Exactly bro. He was so good at producing. It was like 85% why we loved his music

I think he is going thru some stuff but he probably has to release an album because of his contract u kno

That’s logical. He was really quiet about this project and didn’t see me excited to drop it. No promo really or nun

He has never dropped a bad album. Pushed his sound to different spaces every release.

I also think prod by party party is better than music but also partymobile is pretty flawless

Another day prod by murda is proof

I think the new album isn’t bad, but it’s not the greatest. Like... none of the songs are bad to me... some of them are just mid, with some highlights on the album... but yeah I’d love for him to get back to being the main producer on his own s***

    powerful

problem with more minimal production is it causes some lyricists to overcompensate tryna make up for what they feel is missing. but replacing it defeats the purpose.
