It’s been seven years since your first EP. Do you ever listen back to past projects as a gauge of how much you’ve grown?
I don’t, I think Imma do that on the 10th year. I haven’t done that yet, I feel like I’ve gotta keep moving forward. There are so many more ideas and so much real life I’m going through at the time, I can only look forward.

Can songwriting for others be an escape from the vulnerability of your own personal writing?
Yeah. But with the vulnerability thing, recently I’ve seen people saying it’s hard for them to listen to certain songs of mine because they can be so vulnerable, and people almost want to shut that part out - the intimacy and real feelings of being in a relationship. So I think for this next one maybe I’m gonna be less sensitive and flip the coin.
can't lie i thought he was gonna say he'll be even MORE vulnerable on the next one lol. idk how i feel about this but P3 and PM were really personal projects so i get it. maybe this will bring back the fun, P1 Miami vibes y'all miss so much.
