I recently requested a personalized licence plate “FERINA” as seen in the letter attached. The letter states this name as a violent or criminal activity. I had not intended for this to be the reason as this will be my future daughter’s name. This word comes from a local mississauga musician and it means “For real now” implying a good gesture of taking things seriously and trying your hardest this time. I would like to have this reconsidered as a simple Google search shows no bad meaning and thus this should not be flagged. I am sure the ministry is not providing a bad impression to the Crown with this name as this is a phrase and an ode to my future child’s name.
