guwopI agree but honestly these snippets don't sound like he's about to bring anything new/ any unique flavors to that dancehall/afrobeat sound. Also let's not act like adopting that trendy sound is some kind of brave artistic evolution, imo it's clearly an attempt to gain more listeners. There's plenty of great artists in that lane rn (Burna boy, wizkid, J hus, Santi) so theres a standard that I just don't think he's reaching but again we'll find out thursday night.
