Listen to C1 and then C2 and tell me you’re not lying when you say they’re just as good. Colours 1 is peak Party. He was still producing most his s*** and if not, it was G Ry and Neenyo handling the production.

Different sounds tho. Colours is that ambient sad alt r&b that has blown up in the past few years, except Party executes it to perfection.
C2 is the start of the commercial sound party started to bring into his music. I fw Freak In You and Peace of Mind. They’re not no Let’s Get Married or Girl From Oakland tho. Let alone a Jus Know, that’s another level

Ye i guess theres the caribbean vibe connecting it but PM feels way more polished and I feel like he approached the writing totally different
P3 was almost on some stream of consciousness s*** with certain songs like High Hopes, Problems & Selfless, You've Been Missed etc I think he emphasized the verses less on this album except on a few songs like News and Savage Anthem

Overall c2 has no misses🤷🏿♂️ Let’s get married is better than everything on c2 but I’d take c2 overall over c1
