They made everything more vague which defeats the purpose the of the novel, in my opinion. Especially the ending, it's more straightforward and hard hitting than the bullshit the film tried to do. It's a short read you should check it out and compare.

Netflix had nothing to do wit it tho. They picked up this movie at Sundance after it was already made.
I thought it was good. A lot of different themes explored here and the ambiguity allows for different conversations and theories to be had. Especially with that ending
