Def recommend watching Zizaran's PoE University vids. They're long but there's nothing better to get you started imo

Yup. I'd love to get into it more, but the mental hurdle of the prep and being strongly encouraged to map s*** out is not fun at all. Put more effort into that than I do at work

It's rewarding b/c I really think this is 1 of the best video games of all time and a testament to the dev team's love of the genre, but yea at this point if you don't want a Master's degree in PoE, I recommend Last Epoch for sure

Awesome ARPG that's currently in Early Access, not nearly as complex as PoE but also not brain-dead at all i.e. D3, good balance.

Multiplayer and trading about to drop in Patch 0.9 this Thursday. Highly recommend.

In a call rn with my friend who's a HUGE PoE head. Just asked him about it and he said he just redownloaded it last night to give it another shot. Might have to give it a shot in the near future.
