The editing and cinematography of the car chase was immaculate. Almost felt like something out of the silent film era or something

The dips up and down the hills||, the shot when Leo’s car appears behind the chase already happening (just a goofy wild goose chase laugh moment, but also an “oh s\*\*\* but f\*\*\* yeah”, then the cuts between the shots of the drivers right before it ends. Just so much fun

Ngl the they/them joke fell flat in my theater. Maybe due to people having already seen it in the trailers. But the place erupted every time Leo said the R word

The non-binary joke in the trailer reeeally had me hoping it was better in context of the movie… and yeah, it just wasn’t.

It’s not even at all that it’s an offensive joke, it’s just a little dumb. Honestly like my only true “this just should’ve been changed / not done” critique of the entire movie.

This was a crazy introduction to the movie

You could’ve even keep the exact same scene, have Leo fumbling asking about her friends genders, and her just say “this really isn’t that hard”, and I think it would’ve landed way better. Just something about the line / delivery kind of takes me out of it.
