JonboiInherent Vice third act is perfect to me. He realizes that Shasta doesn't want to be saved, and gets a small win by negotiating Coy to be reunited with his wife. Shasta and Doc end the movie on a note of uncertainty, like the hippie dream is crumbling, and they know it, and all they can do is hold onto the moment before they fade away from one another.
I like your encapsulation of the ending, I just wish I felt it more in the movie itself

mentalcase420Alamo's pre show stuff is fun and they don't have other ads really which is why I usually go there but f*** they've gotten expensive here the last year or two so I can't go as often as I'd like to (not just tickets but food too)
Grab the season pass and go during happy hour. I was spending less than 15 total for app beer and ticket and that’s on the not so often occasion that I even wanted food

Saint Seiyahis hero moment is being a refuge for Willa to trust, I think if he was sleeper agent bob it wouldn’t work. Him being her well meaning but f\*\*\* up dad is what he needs to be for her, she’s capable enough.
And all the survival skills that allow her to look after herself the whole movie came from him, even if she thought he was just annoyingly paranoid for years
